Wrapped: Summer Reading List

Hello, late July. This summer was filled with summer romance novels (thank you, Colleen Hoover) and stories about the intersection of identities and interpersonal relationships (thank you, Sarah Thankman Matthews). This week, I’m starting ‘Too Late’ by Colleen Hoover, which got a 4/5 on Goodreads. it’s considered a romance novel, although it explores dangerous love and obsession. Should be a good one; Colleen Hoover usually pulls through for me (verity was insane, okay).

Last week’s read was my favorite book in a long while - ‘All This Could Be Different’ by Sarah Thankman Matthews. I finished this book so quickly because of its beautifully crafted writing, complex characters, and character development; easy to say, I fell in love with the main character and the people around them. a great read that explores identity, gender, sexuality, and dismantling a status quo (or any binary for that matter). No wonder it’s a Los Angeles Times top 5 favorite fiction book of the year. sarah Thankman Matthews, I love this book (also, she responded to me on Instagram, which was incredible !!)
